Azerbaijan National Culinary team won another medal on the last day of "European Grand Prix 2023: Global Chefs Competition" held in Rimini, Italy. The chefs participating in the competition with the support of the State Tourism Agency won four bronze medals.
Azerbaijani chef Emil Zeynalzadeh won a bronze medal in the "Global Young Chef" category on the last day of the European semifinals of the competition organized by the World Association of Chefs' Societies ("Worldchefs").
It should be noted that on the first day of the competition, the members of the national team won bronze medals in three other categories - "Global Master Chef Competition", "Global Pastry Chef" and "Global Vegan Chef". Thus, at the "European Grand Prix 2023" stage, the Azerbaijani team won medals in each of the four available categories. This victory allowed the members of the Azerbaijani team to participate in the final stage of the "World Chefs' Congress 2024" event to be held in Singapore next year.
It is worth noting that on the last day of the competition, the coaches of the Azerbaijan National Culinary Team, Orkhan Mukhtarov and Martin Maitland, took part in the assessment process as auxiliary members of the jury.
Also, Rashad Aslanov, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Italy supported the team by visiting the destination information stand prepared by the State Tourism Agency on the topic "Karabakh, Shusha" at the event venue.
The teams from Croatia, Belgium, Hungary, Cyprus, Romania, Latvia, Germany, Serbia, Estonia, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Luxembourg and other countries were represented at the "European Grand Prix 2023: Global Chefs Competition" held at the Rimini Expo Center.
